Extended (1.750"L) 4-flute pilot design holds cutting oil in contact with the work piece at all times
- Reamer body features a revolutionary 8-flute design to cut bronze valve guides quickly, accurately and repeatedly
- Reamer body measures 2.365" (nominally)
- Shank length measures 1.935" (nominally)
- Overall length measures 6.000" (nominally)
- New cutting geometry requires less torque to drive the reamer
- More rigid tool construction
- Fast feeds than conventional design
- Pilot measures approximately .005" smaller than cutting diameter to allow easier alignment with bushing
- Use at 300 to 400 RPM

Just wanted to comment on these reamers. I’ve been in business for close to 50 years. I, along with other shops I work with, have fought the good fight on getting bronze guides sized properly, with so-so results. This past Summer, I purchased a full set of the 11/32” range carbide reamers. These are the real deal. One pass, using the Goodson fluid, and you are done! I would not have believed it unless I did it myself. Great product, they need to be in every cylinder head shop!
